Made by Atwood Hat Co., this hat is an economic alternative to our other straw hats. This hat is a workhorse with a 4" or 4-1/2" brim.The Bangora was developed in the Mid 1900's as an alternative to hand woven straws. Its long fiber and tensil strength allows it to be machine woven verses the intensive labor of a hand woven thus providing a tuff hat at a bargain price. Readily recognizable by its vent pattern, it hasn't changed in over 60 years. Tuff and good looking at an affordable price. Good in any kind of weather.
